1. Why do I need my model number for parts?
Most parts warehouses have their parts cataloged somehow and the way we pull the part is with the part number.(this is just one aisle of our parts.) Would you want to search through all of these boxes for a bolt?
2. Why would my machine not be covered under warranty?
Technicians are required to determine the cause of failure on a machine. If the cause is not a manufacturer's defect in the part or workmanship, then it is not considered to be a warranty. One of the most common failures in this day is the carburator, due to old fuel causing it to gum up or become corroded. No manufacturer will warranty a machine if it is determined that there was bad gas in it. Using a good fuel stabilizer that helps prevent ethanol problems can help with this issue.
3. Why must I pay a deposit when I drop my machine off for repairs?
The deposit covers the diagnostic fee of the machine. If the technician looks at the machine and the engine is burned up, you may not come back to pick up the machine resulting in the diagnostic not getting paid. The deposit will go towards the repair if the machine does get repaired. It is our policy to take a deposit on all machines.
4. Why does it take several days before my equipment even gets looked at?
We get alot of equipment in and they are on first come, first serve basis. The tech looks at the equipment when he is ready to work on it and does the repair at the same time unless we need to order any parts or if we need an approval from the customer to continue the repair.
