- Function:
Small Engine Technician with emphasis on 2-Stroke and Handheld Equipment.
* Preferably Handheld Equipment.
Maintenance and repair of Lawn and Garden Equipment.
- Responsiblilties:
Diagnose fuel, mechanical and electrical problems. Use voltmeters, compression gauges and other types of testing devices to diagnose if needed.
Call customer if needed with quote.
Look up parts and pull parts.
Make repairs and give explanation on ticket.
Call customers with details. - Qualifications:
- 2 year Experience being in a outdoor power equipment shop.
- Certifications is a plus
- Working knowledge of small engines
* Preferably Handheld Equipment
- Problem solving abilities
- Ability to multitask but as well be detailed oriented
- Great sense of urgency
- Efficiency minded
- Positive attitude
- Spanish is a plus but not needed
- Ability to use a computer and look up parts
* Experience with Partsmart, E-fiche and C-systems is a plus
- Self starter
- Must own adequate tools
